Kate is an experienced music administrator and co-ordinator. Kate has worked on many successful funding applications and led summer hangout sessions at Bridgeside Lodge.

Tanya cracknell


a.k.a the Grime Violinist. Tanya is involved both on stage, serenading residents with her violin and behind the scenes working tirelessly on funding applications 

nathaniel keen


Guitarist Nat Keen is one sixth of London-based Moroccan Gnawa band "Electric Jalaba". Since joining the Spitz team in Spring of 2021, Nat has become a firm favourite at Bridgeside Lodge.


Alice zawadzki


Jazz vocalist, violinist and songwriter Alice has been nominated for Jazz FM Vocalist of the year 2020. - she's got our vote! 

Ben hazleton


Bassist Ben plays with anyone who's anyone on the London jazz scene and has an interest in Indian classical music.

Arthur Lea


Blues and jazz pianist and singer Arthur Lea leads many of our group sessions and has written many original songs in collaboration with Bridgeside Lodge residents.

Mulit-instrumentalist Graham Hughes is one the of the UK's true trad jazz masters and plays double bass, harmonica, flugelbone, trombone and sousaphone. 


Jay phelps


Canadian Trumpeter Jay Phelps is at the forefront of the young and creative generation of jazz musicians in the UK

Henrik Jensen


Danish double-bassist Henrik Jensen moved to the UK to study at the Royal Academy of Music. He leads his own jazz quartet and has been a Spitz musician since 2019  ​


Mussinghi Brian Edwards 


Brian is one of the UK's top tenor saxophonists and we love welcoming him and his horn to our live sessions

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Laurence Corns brings a unique blend of swing, jazz and African music to our live sessions

Clothing designer and Spitalfields stalwart Marvin became a trustee after meeting Jane during The Spitz's time in the East London market
