A peaceful stillness...

Musicians: Alice Zawadzki (violin & voice) and Ben Hazleton (double bass)
We went straight upstairs and we saw G for the first time in ages, that was lovely. He was very happy to see us and said that the music would keep him going and keep him cheerful. L and S.I we being very sweet, they have a lovely matey thing going on.
We played in the communal area with G & C and a few of the other residents. The carers were being very active. Getting everyone involved. We played some dancey things and also an Elizabethan song which wasn't an obvious choice but it was nice, a really nice atmosphere. People listened and there was a peaceful stillness about it. We played some Bulgarian Tunes that Ben brought along. Resident S was cracking on to Ben, asking him if he’s married and then when he said "Yes I’m very happily married" she said “oh dear, all the good ones are taken”. It was very funny... She walked off saying "oh well, I've always got Elvis..."
