Wednesday saw our forth installment of Gospel In The Garden at Bridgeside Lodge. Today we welcomed Izo Fitzroy, Anthea Henry and for the first time, Alex Wiseman.
We braved an overcast Islington sky and were rewarded with a beautiful session of soul, gospel and pop songs. The band were joined for a guest appearance from resident Joseph on Labi Siffre’s Something Inside So Strong which you can see here.
While Quincy Wareham kept the band sounding good, artist Iggy Gill-Ces immortalised them in watercolour.

We really hope you enjoy reading about our mission to spread live music to those who need it but may have otherwise lost access to it. As a registered charity, we rely on grants and donations to keep going — and in recent years this has become harder and harder to secure. Without fresh support, our future at Bridgeside Lodge and Great Ormond Street is at risk.
That’s why in September we’ll be launching a Crowdfunder campaign. If you’re able to donate, we’d be so grateful. But there are plenty of other ways to help too:
- Introduce us – maybe you work for a company with a charitable giving scheme, or know someone who does. A connection could make all the difference.
- Spread the word – sharing our story on social media or with friends helps more people hear about our work.
- Offer your skills – PR, marketing, or fundraising know-how could help us reach far more supporters.
Every bit of help brings us closer to keeping the music alive for people living in isolation. Thank you for standing with us. Now, please enjoy some videos from another beautiful afternoon of music at Bridgeside Lodge.
