Musicians: Marcus Bonfanti (guitar & vocals) Ben Edwards (harmonica)
Today we welcomed harmonicist Ben Edwards for his debut appearance at Bridgeside Lodge as he joined Spitz veteran Marcus Bonfanti for an afternoon which varied from howlin’ blues to mellow jazz.

Bobby McFerrin’s Don’t Worry Be Happy is enough to lift anyone’s spirits and resident JR was no different as he sang along to the lyrics on his iPad.

“Outside the lifts on the second floor” should be a designated and accredited live music venue and we’re tempted to lobby English Heritage to put a plaque up. No matter which musicians are playing or which residents are hanging out there, you’re guaranteed a good time and today was no exception.

John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads felt like a fitting end to a rambunctious session enjoyed by all and we’re looking forward to Ben’s next visit already.
